Things to think about

Cloudy Days

Why is it that I squint my eyes more when it’s overcast outside than on a clear day?

I read some place that light is magnified through the clouds.

It’s an interesting thought.

How big is G-d on cloudy days?

In my weakness, Adonai is STRONG. When the heavy cloudiness of the days obscure my vision, He shines even brighter and His light is magnified.

I am so small a person; frail and with not but a weak love to offer Him. Still, in His glory and grandeur,  He does not refuse me. He does not despise the lowly, but rather calls us closer to Himself.

Can I receive Him?
Can I receive His love that’s holy and perfect?

What is man that You are mindful?

Eyes squinted and covered, I will draw near. Though it pains me, I will come even closer. Though every ounce of darkness in me is offended at Your beauty and I am broken by the excellence of Your great love, because You have drawn me,  I will run after You.
