Perspective

Everything is about perception. 

I love the analogy of how a preacher can preach the same thing to 100 people and it’s interpreted 100 different ways.

4 Jews will have 5 opinions! My rabbi uses this one all the time.

There’s another saying to,”Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see.”

PERCEPTION

I wrote a blog post called Special Effects about how we hear, but really,  it’s bigger than just our hearing.  It’s how we internally interpret what we are observing at any given moment with the information we have received.

WE HAVE A CHOICE

Situations usually present with a glass half full or half empty option.

Ok, let me throw a little DID into this mix. Now we have a war. Everyone wars internally. Paul talked about it, it’s all over scripture. BUT, this is internal conflict on a whole different level.  In this head, there are staunchly polar opposites and I am not in control.  It’s exhausting at times. One wants to ‘let go and let G-d’, another thinks that’s a ridiculous idea. One wants to logically process everything,  another couldn’t care less what G-d or anyone else thinks, ‘let the chips fall where they may!’ One wants to retreat to a safe place because conflict like this us scary, others just want to color and eat jellybeans.  This is life in the exponential scale. 
I’m still praying this prayer that the light of G-d shine on me that death may die. Every ounce of it. Every part and particle of darkness of heart, restlessness,  fear, anxiety,  PTSD, anything that doesn’t shine to be surpassed and dissipated by the brightness of His shining. It’s a struggle to live in two worlds. I know who holds me know His most tender care.

This is my choice; this is my perspective of current circumstances in this life I’ve been gifted. 

Does any of this make sense?  I sort of feel like I’m rambling.  Maybe I am. SO WHAT! HAHAHA! I’ve got a lot of folks talking at once here!

Today,  believe it or not,  the worker bee is out and about thank goodness! I think that’s why this was such a productive weekend while the rest of us are a wrecked mess. Thanks N! You ROCK!
